The Point of View That Is You

I came across a post here on the press, where it’s suggested to post the first result shown after plugging in certain terms on Pinterest. Those terms: Fashion, Pantone, Mood & Food. All pretty good ‘theories of personality’ if you will. I thought it was a cute idea, so here I am sharing my results of how Pinterest ‘views me’. Viewing my results, I believe that the algorithm of my life was interpreted accurately.

Fashion:

Can we say gorgeous?! I truly love everything about this outfit from the coat to the shoes that show off the perfect pedicure. The neutral colors are not only elegant, but it’s also perfect for a crispy October afternoon. Fall is my favorite season for fashion. The layers and accessories add sophistication, as well as warmth. The single thing that I feel is missing here is a small dainty necklace that sits no further than the collarbone. The earrings are a bit oversized for my small ears so I would replace those with dainty diamond studs. Overall, yes Pinterest, you got this one right!

Pantone:

How graceful are blush colors! Another win for me. Shades of pink are not only really feminine to me, but it also exudes a feeling of warmth. It’s light and airy and in the fall it compliments hygge (pronounced whoo-guh)! Be it cliche or whatever, shades of pink (especially blush pink) also happen to be my favorite shades of the color spectrum.

Mood:

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love a good cozy mood! Being mostly an introvert, makes me naturally a homebody, and my favorite pastime is snuggling up on my sofa with a soft blanket, a homemade espresso (with extra lavender cold foam), a book and some lo-fi or smooth jazz music in the background. Time of day doesn’t matter, being cozy has no beginning or end for me. Can we also note that this photo brings all of the late fall vibes as well?

Food:

This one is also spot on as well. 95% of the food that I cook and eat are clean foods. Salmon is always a fridge or freezer staple for my household. It’s such a versatile fish that can be made a variety of ways. I recently made hot honey salmon tacos and it was a total hit with my kiddos. Avocados, hard boiled eggs, veggies are such a powerhouse meal, we often make these types of salmon bowls for dinner. We sub the greens for rice but the addition of arugula is a great idea!

This was a really cute and fun idea! It gave me reaffirmation as to who I am, and that the algorithm of my life is exactly where I want it to be. If anyone tries this, let me know how it came out for you and how it made you feel? Are you representing yourself the way that you want to be seen? Did you find any new ideas or surprising thoughts that came about when searching for the point of view that is you?

Thanks for reading!
